Krafty Molly!

Hello! Hope you are all well! The weather here has been absolutely brilliant - barbecues were most definitely the order of the day! I cannot believe that it is nearly the end of June already, and that July is almost here. Summer hols - here we come! I was able to take photographs of this project outside today, which really helped! I am really glad to have my crafting mojo back - I think it flew south when the weather turned bad, but now that the sunshine is back it seems to have reappeared!!
This project is a little different for me. I had seen the use of little jotters for stamping on a few blogs over the past few months. So, I love Kraft, and found some plain ruled Moleskine jotters in Waterstones that have Kraft covers. They are really lovely to stamp on, and you can colour with Copics on them. Bonus! The ink works slightly differently, but the look that you get is so pretty. This is as about as clean and simple as I get!
The sentiment is a Papertrey Ink sentiment, which is nice and plain. I just love this image from the new Summer Fun Molly Bloom Collection - her little outfit is so lovely - and the bunting is just too cute! Molly is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, and as I said before, coloured in with Copics.

Here is a close up of the detail. I am so pleased with the way that these look - think I might be whipping up a few of these for birthdays and little presents.

Thank You so much for looking! Please leave a comment - it really makes my day! Kx

Just for Mum

Hello! Thought I would share a card I made for my Mum's birthday.

The image has been coloured with Distress Inks to blend in with the lovely My Mind's Eye papers. These are the Stella and Rose collection - Gertie I think! The image was from the Butterfly Dreams 2011 collection. I just love the her wings, and the way that she is sitting.

The doily has been cut from thick vellum, using the Cheery Lynn Doily Die, which is just so lovely. I'm so pleased that this has cut out so well - think I might be treating myself a little more often to these dies!
Here is a close up of the detail:
You can see a little bit of the twinkle from the stickles, and the detail of the butterfly, which is usually joined to the main image! The flowers are a mix of Wild Orchid Crafts and The Hobby House. The sentiment is by Polka Doodles.
See you soon!
